I was instantly drawn to this sketch because I'm crazy about hearts. Sketches don't have to be interpreted literally, but I loved it so much that I wanted to keep most of it as is, especially those hearts! I thought Date Night would be a perfect pairing with this sketch.

I decided to tweak the sketch a little bit. I added in an extra photo, and moved the title to the bottom. I love that it keeps the feel of the sketch, but allows me to add a personal touch to it!
Can we talk about the foil paper for a second? If you have a die-cutting machine, please drop everything now and go use it with the foil paper! I absolutely love the elegant look the silver gives the title. If you have a Silhouette Cameo, just use the regular cardstock setting and it will cut like butter! The layered hearts were all cut with my Cameo, but punches would work just as well, or even hand cut hearts for a unique touch!
Because the colors I chose were on the lighter and pastel side, I decided to ink all the edges for some extra OOMMPH! It's been awhile since I'd done that technique and I don't know why I stopped. I'm very happy with the soft yet defined look it gave.
Thank you for letting me share my take on this fun sketch. I'd love to see yours!"
Diane changed the sketch up! This is what she had to say about her page.
"I was inspired by the three large strips of paper on the sketch but decided to change it up by using three geometric diamond borders in their place. I added diamond pieces trailing off from the border strips to soften the design up and also filled in some of the empty diamonds spaces with the coordinating diamond stickers. When layering shapes, try raising the top layer with a pop dot. The added dimension really makes your page stand out. For the long embellishment strip, I used flowers and flipped it vertically the length of the page, adding in coordinating words and that fabulous diamond ring. The soft colors and theme of the Date Night collection were a perfect match for this special vintage photo of my husband's parents when they were teenagers.
