Morning all. Pam with ya, I am excited it's that time again for our October guest designer. This month we are happy to have Laura Vegas with us! Let me say, this girl has some talent. I have actually been a fan of hers for a long, long time! I remember back in 2006 when she was on the Paperkuts Power team. That magazine is long gone (sad for that), but luckily we still have talent from that team sharing their work. Her style is really great, I feel inspired when I check her blog for new projects.
Let's get to know Laura better and then I will post her fabulous (and I mean fabulous) layouts!
"Hi there! I'm Laura Vegas, from Northern California, where I live with my husband Joe, and my two gorgeous daughters, Alyssa (18) and Sarah (15). I have been scrapbooking for over 20 years now. I started shortly before my first daughter was born, and have not slowed down since. I scrapbook mostly about my girls and our family, but like to mix it up now and then by scrapping photos and stories about my daycare kids and family friends as well. I have been fortunate enough to design for some amazing manufacturers in the industry over the last 8 years, and have also had my work published in a variety of publications for the last 10 years. I was also a proud member of the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Creating Keepsakes Dream Team. I am currently serving as the Design Team Coordinator for Bella Blvd, designing for Kerri Bradford Studio, and am a member of the 2013 & 2014 Scrapbook & Cards Today design team.

We really don't experience a typical "fall" season in this part of California, but I was lucky enough to find these fun fall photos I took of one of my daycare kiddos years ago. From the photos, you might think we have lots of falling leaves, when in reality, we had one small pile of leaves in our entire backyard! I love creating photo collages to get lots of photos onto my pages, but in a neat and organized way. I pulled out the pinks, oranges, greens, and browns for this layout, and love the way the color combo turned out. I knew I wanted to use the large "Scrumptious" flower sticker, and had fun using it as part of my title."
