Before I turn the time over to Shellye I wanted to take a moment and wish our dear Pam Callaghan a very HAPPY birthday. Pam is such an amazing person and so kind hearted! I'm proud to call her our Chickaniddy Craft's product and team coordinator and one of my very best friends. Happy Birthday Pam. We hope your day goes perfectly.
Hello! Shellye here with a quick Back-to-School gift that any teacher would love to receive! You can purchase all sorts of inexpensive plastic containers or use a recycled one.
I cut a strip of patterned paper from the Twirly Girly Collection and adhered it around the middle of the container. Next, I trimmed a small piece of solid pink cardstock from the same collection and adding the sentiment with my computer and printer; just tack the cardstock to a piece of copy paper and print!
For the bee I used a combination of oval dies and a round punch. The body of the bee measures 2.5" and the head 1.5". A bee must have black stripes on the back, so I embellished with black sequins. The wings are two 1.5" ovals that I die-cut from the silver foil paper and then embossed with a dot pattern.
I added some blush to his cheek with a pink chalk and used an enamel dot for the eye. I further decorated the jar with a banner sentiment, floral sticker and some ribbon.
Fill the jar with lemon drops or any other candy that will match your design
