Hi everyone! Allie with you today, and I am excited for the beginning of another year! I've never been one for journaling (but I love a good challenge), which is why I wanted to try a "year in review" layout.
I was inspired by the stripes in the Sweater Weather paper to create my "2014" layout.
1. To create this layout, use a Silhouette Cameo to cut out a large "2014' and a list of notable events from the past year (I don't care for my handwriting, so I rely on my Cameo to write any details or lists for me) on white cardstock.
2. Trace the "2014" onto your background paper for placement. Cut strips of patterned paper and adhere them at an angle onto the traced "2014".
3. Glue the white cardstock onto the background paper, and embellish your layout! Since I used photos of various quality and color, I made them black and white for a more uniform look.
I love the way this turned out and I think I might have to make this a tradition. Do you make a year in review layout or album each year?
